Circulation Rules and Fines 

Most books circulate for three weeks, the exception being some new books and those in special demand, which are charged out for one week. Reference books do not circulate.

Current magazines circulate for two days and back issues circulate for one week.

Books on tape or CD and language audios circulate for three weeks. Music CDs, videos and DVDs may be kept for one week.

Books and other materials may be renewed one time if no one is waiting for the items.

Requests may be placed for books and other material either at the circulation desk or online. When picking up requested books, please bring the patron card on which the request was placed.

A book return is available near the front door for the return of materials when the library is closed. Videos and compact discs should be placed in the drop box located next to the front door of the library. During operating hours, please return all materials to the orange bin located next to the circulation desk.

Fines are charged for all late material, including days the library is closed.

Lost books must be paid for at full purchase price.  Damaged books will be assessed according to the damage done.
